How to list well, sell fast, and build a great reputation on netbadel.
Getting started
Create a free account and verify your email. Once verified, you can start listing immediately. Your listing goes through a quick admin review before going live — this usually takes less than 24 hours.
Taking great photos:- Photos are everything.
- Good photos get more inquiries. Bad photos get none.
- Use natural daylight whenever possible
- Clean the item before photographing
- Shoot against a plain background
- Take multiple angles — front, back, sides, any flaws
- Include a close-up of any labels, model numbers, or damage
- Never use stock photos — only real photos of the actual item
Writing a good listing:
Be honest and specific. Include the brand, model, age, condition, dimensions if relevant, and why you are selling it. Mention any flaws — buyers appreciate honesty and it avoids awkward conversations at meetup.
Setting the right price:
Search for similar items on netbadel and check Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji to understand local market value. A fair price gets a faster sale. Being open to offers or swaps widens your audience.
Receiving swap proposals:
If you have enabled exchanges on your listing, buyers may propose swaps and include an AI-generated estimate of their item's value. netbadel provides an AI-powered swap value estimation tool as a convenience feature only. Responding to inquiries:
Reply as quickly as you can — buyers often message multiple sellers. Be friendly and clear. Confirm the meetup details in writing so there is no confusion.
At the meetup:
Meet in a public place during daytime hours. Bring the item in good condition, as described. Accept payment only after the buyer has inspected and is satisfied. Cash or Interac e-transfer are recommended.
Managing your listings:
From your dashboard you can edit, hide, relist, or mark items as sold at any time. Use Relist to bump an item back to the top of results if it has been sitting for a while. Mark items as sold promptly so buyers are not contacting you for unavailable items.
Upgrading to Premium
Free accounts can list up to 20 items. Premium accounts get unlimited listings plus access to the AI Listing Assistant — upload a photo and get a complete draft title, description, category and price suggestion in seconds. Premium is $9.99 per year paid by Interac e-transfer.
